This next generation technology will become a vital tool in the modern battlefield as it creates an infrastructure that adds wireless video and data transmission to tank and other field units using traditional tactical radio networks, which in the past were limited solely to audio capabilities. Access to real-time video and data streams is critical in the field as it creates comprehensive operational awareness, thus allowing for more rapid and informed decision making at all levels within the military.
This is an initially low value contract which Visual Defence believes offers significant potential over the longer term.
