RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO – June 12, 2007
– Visual Defence Inc. (LSE: VDI), the security convergence company, today announced that following a competitive bidding process it has been awarded a contract in excess of $350,000 to supply Sutherland Secondary School of the North Vancouver School District with a new communications and audio video system.
The system is designed to enhance the learning environment through the provision of classroom video projection and classroom media and teacher amplification. Each classroom will be equipped with a touch panel that is connected to a processor. The processors are networked and enable classroom audio video control. Select classrooms are set up to provide IP video conferencing abilities. The audio video system will also be integrated with the public address system to provide superior management and system control through a networked system.
