Visual Defence Inc was proud to partner with Axis Communications at the bi-annual Transport Publics 2008 Expo in Paris, France. The three day exhibition offers over 200 exhibitors and approximately 10,000 delegates from around the world. The bi-annual event is a meeting place for key players from every aspect of the transportation industry.

Visual Defence was pleased to showcase their mDVSS™ (Mobile Digital Video Storage System) unit at the event. Specifically designed to work on mobile applications, the mDVSS™ provides users with a comprehensive filing system for storing and retrieving large amounts of recorded video and audio content from various sources and compressions. Built for rugged environments, the mDVSS™ is capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, vibration, humidity and dust, making it the ideal onboard solution for buses, trains and trams. Visual Defence's mDVSS™ has been deployed in transit systems and has met with tremendous success. Acting as both a mobile video recorder and streamer the mDVSS™ is capable of providing high quality images and Power over Ethernet (PoE) resulting in a cost efficient installation. The built-in authentication tool is capable of detecting file tampering and verifying content, ensuring that video content is admissible as evidence in investigate proceedings.
