“Visual Defence is extremely pleased to be recognized by Microsoft as a finalist for this award,” said Dagan Sadeh, CEO for Visual Defence. “The company has been working with Microsoft for a number of years to develop our security software platforms. By leveraging Microsoft technologies, Visual Defence has been able to develop leading-edge security convergence software systems that are comprehensive, as well as intuitive and easy-to-learn for both security operators and administrators.”
Awards will be presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 1,800 entrants worldwide. The Custom Development Solutions, Application Infrastructure Development Partner of the Year award recognizes exceptional, innovative partners that focus on the development of customized solutions, web solutions, and tools built on Microsoft technologies leveraging the Visual Studio family of development tools. Specifically, custom development partners may deliver highly customized solutions to support customer unique business practices, deliver one-off enhancements that allow customers to integrate existing systems with new technologies, or develop extensions to existing Microsoft solutions that the customer may already employ.
“We have a diverse and talented partner ecosystem that each year raises the bar in the design and deployment of customer solutions built on Microsoft technologies,” said Allison L. Watson, corporate vice president, Microsoft Worldwide Partner Group. “We are pleased to recognize Visual Defence as one of our partners leading the field in this category.”
Visual Defence, a Microsoft gold-certified partner, develops customized solutions that integrate and manage physical security systems for leading organizations around the world. The Visual Defence flagship product, the Command and Control Centre (3C), provides clients a comprehensive platform to converge and centrally manage multiple security systems including CCTV, intercom, access control, perimeter detection, fire alarm, building management and traffic management. As a fully scalable and vendor-neutral platform, 3C seamlessly integrates traditional analog components with newer digital technologies and works with cameras, digital video recorders and other subsystems from nearly any vendor.
Incorporating customer-defined workflow procedures directly into the system, the 3C provides operators with step-by-step instructions for responding to security events, removing manual decision-making requirements from operators and reducing the risk associated with human error in high pressure, emergency situations. The 3C enables faster return-on-investment and increased revenue-generating opportunities by leveraging existing security assets for multiple applications beyond security, including marketing and operations. It also provides management reporting capabilities so that processes can be continually evaluated and improved. Since its release, the 3C has established an impressive track record of success managing some of the largest security system installations in the world.
The Microsoft Partner Program Awards recognize Microsoft Partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the past year.
