The 3GS system integrates both Access Control and Intrusion Alarm into one networked solution. 3GS+ provides an ideal interface for activity monitoring and access control administration of the 3GS system. Cards may be programmed and doors set to lock and release manually or automatically. Comprehensive reporting facilities enable effective management of a truly integrated solution.


Access Integration

The integration of access control with intruder alarm enables a truly user-friendly and convenient way to manage security. Keypad-based false alarms are reduced by area arming and disarming using access control readers, while maintaining system integrity.

The 3GS+ Database Management Software is Windows XP or Windows 2000 Professional Pack 3 compatible. The application enables both the programming and management of the 3GS access system through a series of logical menus and icons. An Access log provides real-time information of activity on the system, such as access granted, access denied, and relevant door alarms. Doors may be released momentarily, permanently, or locked using the PC and all events may be backed up and retrieved using a comprehensive reporting system.

The 3GS system provides the architecture for 64 doors and 128 card readers on a single RS485 Ringnet and provides for up to 10,000 active cards at any one time. Doors may be organized into 250 door groups, and up to 64 Time Schedules(each with 4 time slots) may be programmed to provide complete flexibility when programming Access Levels for cards. Available on CD ROM, the 3GS+ system is easy to install and suitable for even the smallest access systems.
