Based on our unique technology, the 3GS system enables multiple disciplines to be added on to a single, ring-based cable infrastructure. 3GS+ provides an ideal end-user interface for integrated access control/intrusion administration and database management, including system monitoring functionality. Intrusion/Fire Monitoring 3GS accommodates up to 200 zone inputs for intrusion and fire detection devices such as door contacts, motion detectors, smoke detectors, and sprinkler flow switches. It also offers the added advantage of being partitioned into 32 individual areas. Keypads can be assigned to partitions/areas so only the information relating to the partition/area is displayed on the keypad. Users who are assigned to the same partition/area as the keypad are able to use that keypad.


   Click Image to Enlarge Typical Single Site (6401) Architecture The 3GS system accommodates up to 250 users from an Intrusion System perspective. 3GS is suitable for small 8 zone applications as well as very large 200 zone applications. 3GS is ULC Listed (Level 5) for a central and monitoring station; this also includes burglaries and fires.
Access Control

3GS accommodates up to 64 doors in an integrated access control system and has a 10,000 card/fob user capacity. With up to 64 time schedules, 250 door groups, 250 access levels, 250 function levels, and 250 elevator levels, 3GS can be used in most low to mid-range access control applications. 3GS also provides unique integration features that include single door contact with dual access control/intrusion detection functionality and door schedule override when the system is armed.

3GS offers a user friendly integrated database management software package. It is used for configuring/managing all access control components such as adding cards on the 3GS system; including some intrusion features such as:

• Changing user codes
• Viewing a general log
• Generating reports
• Viewing graphical maps/floor plans with icons

The latter represents access control doors, zone inputs, and relay outputs. The 3GS access control system can be managed and configured onsite or remotely using a modem or through a network connection (LAN/WAN).
