Barry (Oved) Tal

Barry (Oved) Tal is the founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Visual Defence. Barry Tal founded Girit Projects Inc. in 2000 and AVLogic Inc. in 2002, and previously acted as Chief Executive Officer of both of these corporations since their foundations.

Chief Financial Officer

Bill Watson

Bill Watson is responsible for financial management, internal controls and policy compliance as Visual Defence's Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Prior to joining Visual Defence, Bill was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Skyservice Investments, a large privately held aviation services company based in Toronto, Canada. Previous to his appointment to Skyservice in 2001, Bill spent 11 years in roles of increasing responsibility at Imperial Oil. Bill holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Chief Technology Officer

Michael Godfrey

Michael Godfrey oversees research and new industry developments as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Previous to joining Visual Defence, Michael was President of ViaLight Canada, where he was responsible for the development and delivery of fibre solutions to the home. Michael brings to Visual Defence a highly respected and diversified background within the information technology field with certification in advanced communication systems and engineering management. Michael is a graduate of Honours Physics from the University of Waterloo and Electrical Engineering from Queen's University.

Vice President, Sales

Simon Jerome

Simon Jerome is responsible for Sales Revenue generation, the sales team and customer development & management as Visual Defence’s Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining Visual Defence, Simon was with Europlex Technologies for 10 years (an Irish developer and manufacturer of Security & communication products) in the capacity of North American Business Development Director and Director of UK Sales. Simon has over 20 years experience in the security and integration market and has worked extensively throughout the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Western Europe as well as North America. Simon immigrated to Canada from the UK in April 2007.
