Video Storage The IP Mobile Digital Video Storage System (IP DVSSm) is a comprehensive surveillance and investigation answer for mobile environments. Designed as a robust yet easy-to-use digital video recording solution, it is supported by an architecture that is both flexible and scalable.

IP DVSSm seamlessly integrates with the Virtual Matrix System (VMS) and Event Management software modules, creating a centrally managed environment for all your installed DVSSm devices. This approach offers enhanced video management capabilities that traditional stand-alone solutions are unable to match.

Designed particularly for the public transportation sector, the IP DVSSm decreases cabling costs, centralizes video and alarm management capabilities, integrates with intelligent transportation systems and can be used for content delivery (e.g., announcements and advertisements).

Intelligent Transportation System
IP DVSS can integrate with intelligent, on-board transportation systems like GPS tracking, passenger counting, traffic control systems, scheduling software, dispatch, and fare collection. This information is stored as meta-data and can assist in tracking and improving operational efficiency. An intelligent transportation system can also gather vehicle diagnostics, fuel usage and other relevant information to optimize fleet management.

Driver Safety Alarm
IP DVSSm can integrate with a driver panic alarm to enhance driver safety and security. The central management station would immediately be alerted to a situation on the bus and could remotely lock-down video and, if required, direct authorities to the proper location.
