General Third Party Subsystems

    General Visual Defence Subsystems

  • Application Service
  • Through VDI’s Application Interface Service, VMS 2.0 integrates with external event triggers interfaces for a broad range of event types. Standard HTTP or TCP messages can be intercepted and processed as VMS 2.0 events.

  • Input/Output (I/O)
  • In order to provide functionality to receive and send a signal via dry contacts, VDI provides two types of interfaces. One is the I/O Interface Gateway hardware where input and/output contacts are attached. The other is using AXIS I/O functionality that has embedded I/O ports.

    Video Analytics

  • Aimetis
  • Aimetis integrated application to VMS 2.0 allows various video analytic operations to be performed such as body counts, video motion detection, etc.

  • AXIS Video Motion Detection

    PubTrans

  • The integration with PubTrans retrieves station location information by accessing a database managed by PubTrans ROI Data Adapter to retrieve station information and load to mapping.

    Incident Event Ticketing

  • HIT (Lundalogik)
  • For a predefined list of alarms, VMS 2.0 sends information to open trouble tickets on HIT CRM system. For each of these incident tickets, our system has the ability to manage the status of the ticket, whether they are opened or closed with relation to an active event. HIT is a CRM management system that has a trouble ticketing management module created by a Swedish company called Lundalogik.

    Fire Alarm

  • In order to provide functionality to receive a fire alarm from an alarm detection panel, VDI provides two types of interfaces. One is using an integrated OPC interface, which has the list of OPC DA tags for fire alarms. The other is a Fire Alarm Gateway, which has input ports and translates incoming alarm notifications to internally manageable alarms.

  • Firefly

    Access Control

  • C-Cure
  • Through VDI’s Access Control Client, VMS 2.0 receives events from the Access Control and is able to activate an alarm based on these events or combination of events. The Access Control Client can automatically clear an activated alarm while notifying the VMS 2.0 core Server. As well, the system administrator can program automatic actions that will be executed when the alarm is triggered using all the available resources (live video and audio, recording, mapping, etc.) in the system.
