In this role you will manage the full sales cycle including cold calling, prospecting, pitching, and closing sales in order to support the company’s mission to be the leading provider of road maintenance and pothole detection systems worldwide. You will gain priceless, unique experience and knowledge about Visual Defence’s products with focus on Artificial Intelligence.

Qualifications and skills

  1. Tech sales experience is preferred.
  2. Comfortable making a high volume of cold callings per day.
  3. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Must be fluent in English.
  4. Minimum 2+ years sales experience in a technology field is required.
  5. Experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) products and services.
  6. Tech-savvy – Ability to learn about new tech (particularly AI) and pay attention to not just the industry, but general tech trends.
  7. Strong customer-facing presentation/listening skills.
  8. Highly motivated, energetic and result oriented.
  9. Professional and friendly telephone manner.
  10. Able to build trust with others and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  11. Training for the position will be provided by employer.

Field Installation Technician

Location: Richmond Hill, ON, CA

Position
We are looking for a skilled, dynamic and results-driven Field Installation Technician to join our team.
The individual in this role will report to our Operations Manager. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, configuring and installing the company’s systems/technologies at customer sites. This is an on-site/in-office, full time position. If you are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Minimum Requirements

  1. An excellent communicator verbal and written
  2. Highly motivated, energetic and result oriented.
  3. Must be extremely organized, proactive and detail oriented.
  4. Patient and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
  5. Self-motivated to work independently.

As a Data Annotator at Visual Defence you will train machine learning programs to understand what it sees in pictures, images and video. Field Installation Technician

Summary

We are looking for a skilled, dynamic and results-driven Field Installation Technician to join our team.
The individual in this role will report to our Operations Manager. Participate in online training sessions about current and potential industries related to the areas of natural resources, inclusive of some or all of the following areas: Energy, Forests, Minerals/Metals, Earth Sciences, Green Manufacturing, Carbon & Climate Mitigation, Energy Efficiency & Green Buildings, Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection.
  2. Learn about our innovative solutions.
  3. Install, maintain, adjust, configure and repair the company’s systems at customer sites while adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.
  4. Ensure proper wiring, functionality, and placement of all peripherals, accessories, cabling and devices for optimal performance.

Qualifications and skills

  1. Post-secondary Diploma in technology program is preferred.
  2. May be required to travel throughout Canada and US whenever the need arises to complete other time sensitive projects.
  3. Valid driver's license are mandatory.
  4. Valid passport is mandatory.
  5. Proven experience in vehicle electrical installation or a similar role is an asset.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.

Product Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded Product Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Product Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and optimizing our next generations’ products to meet customer needs and ensure the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and marketing to bring products ideas from concept to market.

Key responsibilities include

  1. Collaborate with product managers and designers to define product requirements and specifications.
  2. Help with the development, design, and prototyping of new products.
  3. Perform detailed analysis and testing to ensure product functionality, quality, and performance meet both internal and industry standards.
  4. Optimize product designs for ease of installation, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.

Qualifications and skills

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. 3+ years of experience in product design, prototyping, manufacturing and assembly.
  3. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and other mechanical design tools.
  4. Experience working in plastic and metal for component prototyping, manufacturing and assembly.
  5. Knowledge and experience in material selection, compatibility and usage for indoor and outdoor applications.
  6. Experience with designing plug and play systems for ease of product assembly, installation and/or secure removal.
  7. Experience with component assembly (precision part mating, hardware integration and power systems).

You will enjoy collaborating alongside and communicating with the members of the AI team to ensure that the final result is in its best form and is representative of a well-researched process.
You will be provided a shift schedule, which may include working a shift during the day, evening and/or nighttime and can include weekdays and/or weekends.

About this Role

  1. Review, and categorize content for applications using internal software programs.
  2. Establish proper classifications and apply labels to images and videos data with established procedures.
  3. Make content distinctions, identify patterns and build high-quality dataset to allow easier and faster user accessibility.
  4. Provide constructive feedback to our engineers on tooling and processes for more efficient labeling to improve data quality.
  5.
